1. Stimulates hair growth (Follicusan)

Follicusan stimulates the growth of incipient hair. It contains bioactive signalling molecules (inositol, DL-ethyl panthenol, sulphur-rich amino acids N-acetyl cysteine and N-acetyl methionine) that vitalise the hair follicle cells and stimulate the biosynthesis of hair proteins. Results show that the active ingredient Follicusan has a significant impact on the hair growth cycle in people suffering from excessive hair loss.
The effects are visible after 3 to 4 months of regular use: up to 40% more hair in the anagen phase and up to 70% less hair in the telogen phase.

2. Fights the causes of hair loss (Procapil)

Procapil targets the primary causes of alopecia (hair loss). It contains 3 active ingredients that function in synergy:

• Oleic acid (extracted from olive leaves) inhibits the functioning of 5-alpha reductase, an enzyme that causes the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which is the main cause of hereditary baldness;
• Apigenin (a citrus flavonoid) improves blood circulation in the scalp;
• the peptide Biotynil GHK strengthens the hair roots.

The effectiveness of Procapil has been tested in a 4-month clinical trial. In 67% of the people using Procapil, the share of hair in the anagen phase significantly increased.

The Study

The effects of both active ingredients have been proven with in vitro and in vivo placebo-controlled tests.
In vivo results for Follicusan
In 4 cases of Alopecia diffusa, the percentage of anagen hair significantly increased and telogen hair decreased.

Out of the 6 volunteers suffering from Alopecia androgenetica, 5 showed a significant increase in anagen hair and a simultaneous decrease in telogen hair. In one case, no influence was observed after treatment.

This in vivo study demonstrates a beneficial influence on the hair growth cycle in individuals suffering from increased hair loss.

In vivo results for Procapil:
Out of the 18 volunteers in the Procapil group, 67 % showed a significant improvement in the mean anagen/telogen ratio.

This result provides confirmation that Procapil slows hair loss and improves the health of the hair follicles.
